His arrival coincided with an entire switch up of the table with all of the original players who appeared earlier in the season being replaced, with the exception of Barry Greenstein who remained.

The new line-up included World Series of Poker Champion Jonathan Duhamel and PokerStars Team Pro Jason Mercier.

Also featured were Mike Baxter, Haralabos Voulgaris, Julian Movsesian and Bill Perkins.

The players all bought in for $200,000 which represents the new minimum buy-in in the game boosting the total amount of money in play.

The Unabomber would have a relatively quiet night winning around $5,000 in the episode.

The episode’s big winner would be none other than the reigning WSOP Champ who won over $100,000.

Duhamel would take down an almost $100,000 pot when he raised Bill Perkins’ straddle to $4,200 with Q5 in a late position steal attempt.  Movsesian held AK in the big blind and made the call while Perkins folded his hand.  The flop came 586 rainbow, with Movsesian check-calling Duhamel’s $5,500 continuation bet.  The turn was an Ace giving Movsesian the card he was looking for.  He checked from early position and Duhamel wisely checked behind.  The river was another 5 giving Duhamel three-of-a-kind.  Unsuspectingly, Movsesian bet out for $10,000 looking for value from his AK hand and Duhamel raised up to $32,300.  Movsesian called to see the bad news.

Phil Laak took the opportunity to add “That’s how they win $9 million, kids.”

In a later hand, Lady Luck would again shine on the Champ as his nut flush draw connected on the turn against Baxter’s flopped set.  Baxter fired out $11,000 on the flop and was called.  The turn brought the flush and Baxter check-called Duhamel’s bet for $17,600.  The river was a blank and once again Baxter check-called a bet of $33,500.  Duhamel took down the $100,000+ pot to make him the night’s big winner.

Phil Laak and his girlfriend Jennifer Tilly are the hottest couple in the poker world. Rightfully so, Phil is one of poker’s biggest stars and Jennifer is certainly one of the hottest ladies in the game. She has even earned herself the nickname the “Unabombshell”.

How did Phil Laak meet Jennifer Tilly?

Phil Laak and Jennifer Tilly first met each other at the World Poker Tour Invitational tournament at the Commerce Casino. Laak and Tilly hung out during the event and had a lot of fun together.

After having a blast together at the Commerce Casino and Jennifer asking for his number, Phil thought he’d hit the jackpot on this one. Another lucky day for one of poker’s greatest.

However, Jennifer Tilly didn’t end up calling, and Phil Laak took a bad beat on this one.

Phil Laak makes his move

Laak is no fool and he can take a beat like a man. He shook it off and kept his eye on the prize.

The Unabomber made sure that he had a fancy play ready the next time they met up, and took a calculated gamble that paid off big time.

The next time that they saw each other and hung out, Phil made his move. When he had to get going to catch his plane, he said to Jennifer “Nice hanging out … I gotta catch my plane …”

Again, she asked for his number so that she could give him a call to hook up. Phil Laak had a plan and responded “Well, what’s the point? Last time I gave you my number you didn’t call.” For once, Jennifer Tilly was speechless.

Then the Unabomber pulled the trigger “How about this: Instead of me giving you my number and it being 3% you call me, why don’t I get your number, and then it will be 100% that I call you?”

The episode was filmed shortly after his ATV accident and his hand is in a sling.

Thankfully, poker is not a physical game and he managed to survive using just one hand to look at his cards and handle his chips.

His pink mohawk was also an eye catcher.

Despite being filmed so soon after the accident, he was in high spirits and provided non-stop entertainment for viewers.

The Big Game features a star studded line up of poker pros all with $100,000 buy-ins playing against an amateur “Loose Cannon”. The amateur was cancer survivor Scott Fishman who played aggressive poker and won $30,000 at a table full of sharks.

He started out strong firing a three barrel bluff against David Williams and winning the hand with a busted straight draw on the river.

He also faced off against the Unabomber who tried to put a move on him by raising the flop with nothing. Fishman was not to be pushed around and pushed back with top pair, second kicker to take the $40,000 pot down.

Phil Hellmuth was the big winner of the episode winning $54,000.

WSOP 2009 Champion Joe Cada was very quiet and walked away with $1,000 profit.

David Williams lost $28,000.

Despite providing most of the entertainment, Phil Laak was the biggest loser having lost $34,000.

The Unabomber has continued to show strong finishes through large poker fields.  Having won his first bracelet in the WSOP Europe Six Handed No Limit Hold’em Event in late 2010, he continued his strong performances by finishing in 12th place in the $10,000 Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo Championship Event and in 28th place at the $10,000 Six Handed No Limit Hold’em Championship Event during the 2011 Series.

He would top off his great performances with this amazing 4th place finish as he battled his way through a field of 352 entrants to nearly claim another bracelet.

The final table consisted of many tough opponents including Nick Schulman, a World Poker Tour and WSOP bracelet winner who would eventually be eliminated in 7th place.

David Bach, the 2009 WSOP $50,000 H.O.R.S.E. Championship winner and 2010 Aussie Millions H.O.R.S.E. Champion would be a tough challenger eventually finishing as the runner-up in this tournament.

Nick Binger, now with over $2 million in tournament winnings would claim his first WSOP bracelet beating out a tough field to claim the $397,000 prize.

Phil Laak had a great World Series of Poker and fans can continue to look forward to his continued dominance and eccentricities on the world poker stage.

Disappointingly, it was to be the latter.

He got all his money in with Kd4d against the AcJc of Caio Pimentia.

The flop brought a J and there was no help to come for Phil and he was eliminated.

It is currently being filmed in the freezing cold temperatures in Michigan and is about a robbery gone bad.

It should make for great action and it will be fun to see buddies Phil and Antonio on the big screen.

The two attended Antonio Esfandiari’s Halloween party bash that Phil tweeted was a “Full out sick party!!!”

The pair couldn’t have dressed more opposite if they tried.

Phil was dressed as a super nerd with black glasses taped up in the middle. He wore a checkered shirt and bow tie. He even wore the ultimate nerd shoes to match. The worst part of his costume was the fake yellow teeth with some of the nastiest looking gums ever.

On the flip side, Jennifer wore a very tight nurse outfit with a low front showing off her fine cleavage. Damn, she is smoking!

To top it all off, Tilly was recently voted into 3rd place on the Poker Player to Have Sex With wish list.

Her steamy girl-on-girl scene with Gina Gershon from the movie “Bound” was mentioned multiple times by the voters.
